The western region of South America, with its proximity to the equator and its varied terrain, contains tropical desert, tropical highland and tropical rainforest climates, of which the tropical rainforest climate is arguably the main representative of the region.

    Recently Xinxiang Yulong Textile Co., Ltd. received a delegation from the western part of South America engaged in the oil industry, who were interested in having a new batch of workwear tailored for their staff. They required fabrics with good flame retardancy and a certain level of resistance to oil and water. When we first learnt that the customer's city was in a tropical rainforest climate, we pushed Yulong Textile's unique light weight oil and water resistant aramid fabric to the customer and attached a sample drawing of a workwear style more suitable for the oil industry. After many days of contact, the customer decided to personally lead his team to our factory for a site visit.

The light weight aramid fabric is breathable and moisture permeable, so it can cope with high temperatures and heat in a variety of situations. The light weight oil and water repellent aramid fabric, its waterproof principle is modelled on the self-cleaning effect of lotus leaves, when water, beads and oil stains come into contact with the fabric only float on the surface of the fabric, so the oil stains can be easily cleaned off.
